A More Christlike God Seminar, Sept 2017

A two-part seminar by Brad Jerzak, based on his recent book, exposing some toxic images of God, even within Christianity, and how these distort our gospel.

Speaker: Brad Jersak (husband of Eden) is an author, teacher and editor from Abbotsford, Canada. After pastoring for 20 years, he now teaches WTC, is editor in chief of CWR Magazine (ptm.org), and has written a dozen books (bradjersak.com). The common theme in his work portraying God through the cross-shaped love of Christ.

Summary: This two-part seminar is based on Brad’s book, A More Christlike God. We will expose some toxic images of God, even within Christianity, and how these distort our gospel. From there, we will offer the Incarnation of Christ and especially the Cross as the clearest image of God as love.

Venue: Central Hall, St Mary’s Street, Southampton, SO14 1NF

Timings: Part 1: Friday 1st September 7.30pm – 9.30pm Part 2: Saturday 2nd September 10.00am – 12.30pm.

Cost: £15.00. Concessions (students, senior citizens, those on benefits): £10. Admission price is for both sessions.
