A Slow Road to Easter Series – Peter part 1

The always brilliant Crystal Mintram led the 3rd part of our series on ‘A Slow Road to Easter’. A series in which we take time to explore and look afresh at the Easter story.

In the 3rd part of this series Crystal shares about the Disciple Peter.

Peter is a very relatable disciple, he’s passionate, he’s hot headed, he goes all in, yet gets things wrong, he fails at times and he makes statements that he can’t keep to. Both his strengths and weaknesses are openly shared throughout the 4 gospels, including what was probably his biggest moment of shame, denying Jesus 3 times in which the rooster crows.

Exploring Peter’s up’s and downs, Crystal powerfully explains what we can learn from Peter, what we can learn about God through Jesus’ responses to Peter and how Jesus understood, with Jesus being fully human whilst also being fully divine.

Perhaps you have hurt someone, perhaps you have made a mistake, perhaps you are feeling guilt or shame, or perhaps you are the one that has been hurt by someone. Take a listen to Crystal’s talk and let it encourage you.
